Maybe we can look at the product again when it is commercially available. Are the 1000 schools posted on an interactive map? My students are interested in global distribution of kits and seeing the big weather data picture as it develops.

I’m sure there’s huge potential demansd for a wider release. I’ve had a weather station going for years and keep my eyes peeled for something better and I’m pretty confident there’s nothing as good as this kit unless you spend a <<>> of money.
So can I add my vote for two stations – one for myself personally and one to set up with the breakfast club at my son’s school.

We’re working on this – in the meantime you can connect most off the shelf stuff to the Pi directly (or even make your own!), the Weather Station HAT just makes it neater and more straightforward and adds extras such as a realtime clock and Power over Ethernet.
