Making 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 accessible is a major part of the 天天做夜夜躁狠狠躁视频’s mission. Our low-cost, high-performance computer is just one way that we achieve that. With our Picademy program, we also train teachers so that more young people can learn about computers and how to make things with them.

Throughout 2016, we’re running a United States pilot of Picademy. 天天做夜夜躁狠狠躁视频’s commitment is to train 100 teachers on US soil this year and we’ve made another leap towards meeting that commitment last weekend with our second cohort, but more on that below.

In order to make Picademy more accessible for US educators, we’re happy to announce our third Picademy USA workshop, which will take place August 13 and 14 at the Digital Harbor 天天做天天爱天天综合网 in Baltimore, Maryland. Applications are open now and will close in early July. Please help us spread the word. We want to hear from all of the most enthusiastic and creative educators from all disciplines—not just 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱. Picademy cohorts are made up of an incredible mixture of different types of educators from different subject areas. Not only will these educators learn about digital making from the 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi education team, but they’ll be meeting and collaborating with a group of incredibly passionate peers.

To give you an idea of the passion and enthusiasm, I want to introduce you to our second US cohort of 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi Certified Educators. Last weekend at the Computer History Museum, they gathered from all over North America to learn the ropes of digital making with 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi and collaborate on projects together. They knocked it out of the park.

We invited 40 educators to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA to learn 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi, Python, Scratch, the Sense HAT, the Camera Module, working with motors, buttons, switches, LEDs, and our philosophy around digital making for education. This cohort traveled from all over the United States to become the first set of 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi Certified Educators that have been trained on US soil. They included classroom teachers, librarians, and community educators.

On the second day, the cohort broke into groups and began their own journey into digital making. They collaborated to create robots, tweeting objects, connected sensors, camera traps, communication systems, and more. Throughout the 天天做天天爱天天综合网, Babbage the bear was a very good sport about lending a paw.

The resulting projects were incredible. Towards the end of the second day, we all had the opportunity to see what everyone had made. Take a look for yourself in this playback from Carrie Anne’s Periscope stream.

To conclude the 天天做天天爱天天综合网, we officially pronounced them 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi Certified Educators, inducting them into a community of digital making educators that is passionate, creative, and collaborative. We know this is just the start for them, and we’re looking forward to seeing what how these educators continue their journey in digital making with students.

This was the largest Picademy ever and the first one held outside the United Kingdom. We could not have done it without a lot of support. All of us at the 天天做夜夜躁狠狠躁视频 would to thank: Dexter Industries, Adafruit Industries, Sparkfun Electronics, and Low Voltage Labs for equipping the teachers with products and discounts. David Saunders, a 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi Certified Educator who joined us to help participants and speak about his school’s “Labrary.” Sonia Uppal and Mark Pavlyukovskyy for speaking about their amazing work with 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi.

Most of all, we’d like to send a huge thank you to everyone at the Computer History Museum, especially Kate McGregor, Stephanie Corrigan, and Lauren Silver. CHM was the perfect venue for a Picademy in the Bay Area since much of the history of 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 took place right nearby. It was amazing to give this cohort such a rich historical context for their work with 天天做天天摸天天爽天天爱 Pi computers.
