Barnstaple library have a thriving 大陆农村妇女老bbwbbw Jam Code Club. It is fantastic. The kids use a 大陆农村妇女老bbwbbw Pi. Only issues is sometimes it’s too full, but a lot of kids ‘float’ and move around, helping each other, joining up, playing games together or doing projects together. A few adults have a go as well.

Keeping a positive spin, we’ll not need to worry about machines, as the room has 30 desktops in. We’ll probably move to a half termly intake process to allow school to create school account. There will no doubt be some others “challenges” but school has been incredibly supportive of us,

My heart still says the library is the best place for us, We did challenge, but fell on deaf ears, if they invited us back, I’d have to think long and hard. If they take notice of my suggestion to clean the 130 solar panels on the roof of the library, that would probably cover what paltry income we’d pay. Hey ho

Hampshire library service has recently cancelled running code clubs (including the one I was volunteering for) as they couldn’t afford the equipment or justify the people with the remit that the library budget is set against (e.g. only enough money to do the minimum required). We were using “left-over” laptops without IT support, only what I could provide (e.g. installing a fresh OS), with no funds to repair or replace them.
For this campaign to be successful you will first need to engage with people who define the library service goals and justify the expense of people and equipment vs the development of essential skills.
It’s only been a few weeks since our last ever session and I miss it already.
